Morning Loves….Happy Sunday! Today I’ll be blowing up your notifications with more sharing. First up is Roger. Roger is a terrific guy. He’s kind, supportive, non-judgemental and extremely good-natured. He writes amazing stories and when he feels passionate about something he blogs it all out for us and explains why. Roger and I think a lot alike about things in the world. He calls himself the heroically bad writer but I beg to differ. He is very clever with his writing and writes about things that are fascinating.
Happy New Year Everyone!
Sitting in Starbucks this morning having my coffee with my hair tossed in a messy bun, wearing my scarf, cozy soft coat, riding boots and plaid leggings…..(One Cold Mess, I’m not even going to call it a Hot Mess because there’s nothing hot about the weather or myself this a.m.) I debated on blogging about what’s to come in 2016. New goals, new adventures, resolutions <Hate that word> and so on.
Nope, not gonna do it. I could’ve posted my 2015 Year in review but I wanted to blog about something meaningful to me. Call me sentimental or softhearted maybe…let me tell you, it doesn’t happen often so enjoy this my loves.
Let’s start shall we? A lot of my new followers might not realize I’ve only been blogging for five months. I believe I’ve posted over 140 entries which is insane. Who knew I had so much to say? I’m grateful for this mental release. It’s something I’ve needed in my life. Blogging has allowed me to be ME. I’m open, honest, and I spill every single thought into this blog. Sometimes I think it’s a bit too much but when I do, you assure me that it’s OK to be ME. Thank you loves for accepting my salty, sassy, blunt, and bitchnificent self. (Definition Of Bitchnificent Here: https://fabulouswithglitches.wordpress.com/2015/10/25/bitchnificent/)
You’ve all given me so much encouragement and most of all inspire me daily. Why can’t it be this way in our everyday lives? It seems like we’re building each other up and cheering each other on here in this magical blog world. While in real life when we come into contact with people it doesn’t seem to be easy, comfortable, and as positive as it is here. I feel like I’m in a cocoon, it’s velvety, warm, and protected here. I so wish it was like this in the real world, don’t you?
Throughout the year I’ve had moments of fear, weakness, mistakes, and foolishness. I’ve learned from these junctures throughout the year and with this blog I’ve grown. I feel more confident, assured, powerful, and most of all appreciative of life. With your blogs, pictures, conversations you seem to keep me centered. For that, I thank each of you.
Here’s to growing, laughing, inspiring, sharing and being bad ass bloggers in 2016!
I absolutely love this quote!
I appreciate traditional, normal, and general types of characteristics. But, those characteristics of abnormal, unconventional, and rare are a magnet to my steel.
There’s something quite gripping about diversity, wouldn’t you say? I think people that are authentic and resistant are the most captivating ones.
Honestly, we’re all authentic. There’s no replica of you or me is there? We’re originals.
Sigh, resistant….unyielding…no brakes….That my loves is a beautiful thing. Keep going and keep writing and shining here. Don’t hold back on anything. The door is wide open. You’re not in prison here. Let it all out. There’s a freedom about writing your thoughts and sharing a piece of yourself. Let your authenticity flow.
Now be proud of your originality and wave it around magnificently loves.
Happy Wednesday – XOXO
I don’t normally do this sort of thing but my sweet and gracious friend Wendy nominated me and I’m honored to oblige. I adore her blog. You must check her out at http://wendysharesathought.com/about/
There are three rules with this One Lovely Blog Award…..
* Link the person that nominated you to this entry/post.
* Share seven things about yourself.
* Nominate some of your favorite bloggers.
So here goes……
1.) I cry when I hear the Star Spangled Banner.
2.) If you give me gummies I will love you long time.
3.) Love, Love, Love Rap and Hip & Hop
4.) I’m a dreamer. When I say dreamer, I mean one time I actually thought my homemade cookies were so damn good I could open up a bakery. Good God! Another time, I thought I could sell handmade cards. The other time I thought I could blog, Oh wait, that’s not a dream! I’m actually doing it. Not that it’s something HUGE (In my Trump voice) but it’s kinda big for me.
5.) I’ve never seen Star Wars – Gasp, Sigh, I know….Shame on me. Where the fuck have I been?
6.) I used to do some modeling locally when I was a teenager and in my early twenties. Never made it big but it was fun at the time.
7.) Dolls freak me out. Not Barbies but Dolls. The kind that the eyes move around or the baby dolls with their lips puckered or even the old classic ones. Any kind of doll or baby doll REALLY creeps me out.
So there you have it. A little about me. My nom’s are listed below. Do not feel like you have to oblige but I’d LOVE to read seven things about you! Monday Eve’s prep……
Last week negativity called me up for a booty call. I wasn’t feelin’ it so I happily told negativity to go fuck itself. Abstinence never felt so good.
I often hear co-workers spewing bitterness about their jobs and how they’re being mistreated by their manager or the company. Sure, there are times where I feel the same way. I don’t discuss it out loud to bring others down. There’s no need in allowing it to affect my work or take it out on any of my co-workers.
I actually call this “The Sickness”. It’s when the negativity plays house in their brains and the words “It’s not fair” come into play.
The Sickness is an infection that needs a remedy stat!
If you’re feeling any symptoms that point in the direction of the The Sickness, get help fast! No need in their germs sweeping through the office like a parasite.
Disinfect yourself before entering the ward tomorrow. Spray on some “Bitch Puh-lease” repellent and handle yourself. Put on your mental mask and shield that bacteria.
Remember, you have choices, do you want to be encouraging or disheartening? You can’t be both darlings, pick carefully.
Since when do I make up words? I know…..this is not orderly for a blogger/writer (If you will) to make up words is it? Humor me?
I’ve always been in my own little world and my imagination and wordplay ignite like a brush fire. I’m running with it this morning.
Bitchnificent is my definition of a female that’s shameless, glittering, quick-witted and obviously magnificent.
She’s not one to smear or devalue another person. She praises and encourages others to be exceptional.
Of course there’s always counterblows if a threat arises. She will seek retaliation for the wrongfulness of a hazard.
Classy yet saucy. Handling her life and close ones with care and commitment of the up most importance.
I wonder….do you have a female in your life with this enchanting trait? I do believe they are a limited edition. If you catch a glimpse of one do hold them close at hand as you could learn from them or collaborate with this exquisite spirit.
I honestly hope all of you Loves experience a friendship, confidant, sisterhood, wife, or lover in this lifetime that carries this authenticity.
She is thrilling, breathtaking, magical and one to be there for a lifetime.
Really no introduction necessary for this blog. I absolutely stalk his blog daily. There’s something raw, authentic, straight forward about his writing. His blog was the second one I followed when I was a virgin blogger…. Ha! He shares some really fantastic blogs and that’s where I find the majority of blogs that I’m deeply interested in. He’s a poet, blunt, honest, and so much more. If you were to google “What you see is what you get” he’s that guy. If you’re not following him, do it! You’re in for a magical ride.
