Saturday Sickness Blows

Not my typical Saturday… I sit here blogging with a kleenex shoved up my nose. There’s sickness in our house. I seldom ever get sick and this is just unacceptable. Like I have a say in it? My hubby got sick last weekend with a cold/flu/sinus thing. Now I have it. We kept waking each other up last night snoring. Ha.

I finally moved to the sofa downstairs around 2 am and when I woke up around 6 am my cough drop was stuck in my hair and snot was crusted up around my nose. Get the picture of how miserable we’re feeling? Do you feel sorry for us? Bring us some soup? Just kidding. We have everything we need here. Maybe Monday we’ll get to the Dr. But, I have to go to work, no calling in sick as there’s a few other people off and someone has to be there to take calls. Arggg.

Anyway, that’s why I’ve been MIA a few days this week. I had high hopes of knocking out my Christmas shopping today too. Balls! For now I’ll pile up on the sofa and read blogs and a good book. I’m reading American Assassin by Vince Flynn. It’s old I know but I’m really into it. A friend gave it to me a couple of weeks ago.

Enjoy your Saturday Loves and I’m hoping all of you are healthy and enjoying this holiday season.

I guess the silver lining here is that you’re getting the virus out of the way before Christmas…
